Indulge yourselves at a rare jewel of a beach – a hidden Manuel Antonio treasure at Biezans Bay – for a refreshing swim and delicious local snacks. Stop and snorkel if you like and check out the three small but growing, active, and astounding coral reef systems nestled very close to the shore of Biezans Bay. With the sails hoisted, we tour the perimeter of world famous Manuel Antonio National Park and then head off to deeper water in search of dolphin, whales while they are in season, and other marine life. During the trip back we anchor off Vizan Beach where you can snorkel and swim and mingle with the colorful reef fish. If you want to see the beauty of what diving in Costa Rica's tropical water has to offer without immediately committing to a certification course then this is for you. This experience can be conducted in half a day and requires no previous diving experience. First watch a short DVD explaining dive fundamentals, techniques and theory, then review the most important points with a PADI Professional, who will also answer any questions you may have. Then, under the direct supervision of a PADI professional you will discover how easy it is to use scuba in a pool and then when you are comfortable move on to do 2 ocean dives!! The Manuel Antonio coastline with its 12 islands gives us the pick of numerous dive sites. The majority of our local dive sites are a maximum of 20 minutes from the port and we consider your experience, preferences and local conditions to guarantee your enjoyment. Most of our dives are between 35 and 60 feet, though there are deeper sites for more experienced divers. All dives are guided by a PADI professional who has extensive knowledge and experience at our dive sites so that you will see the most marine life and underwater formations. Dives typically last 45 minutes and you will see volcanic rock formations, with various hard and soft corals. We have an abundant marine life with schools of Snapper and Jacks, plus White Tip Reef Sharks, Angel Fish, Moorish Idols, Parrot Fish, Puffer Fish, Octopus, Eels, Crustaceans, Sea Turtles and in season the giant Manta Ray. Cerro Chato Extreme Volcano Hike - This is an intense 4-5 hour hike through lush rain forest to the extinct volcano Cerro Chato. Rio Celeste - Our journey begins with an early morning scenic drive through rural Costa Rica to Tenorio Volcano National Park. From there, we'll begin our 4-hour intermediate hike (approximately 7km) through the surrounding tropical rainforest. We then arrive to "Los Teníderos" where two rivers come together to form the celestial turquoise blue water color that gives the river its name. We'll return back through the national park to the "ollas" mud baths and take a moment to relax in the natural hot springs. We then arrive at the spectacular Río Celeste waterfall - the perfect place to take photos. (Lunch included) 8 hours.
ATV Tour Manuel Antonio - Drive through rustic tropical settings, unpaved roads, giant African Palm Plantations, real working cattle farms, and typical Costa Rican towns like Naranjito, Londres, Villa Nueva and Esquipulas. About half way through your journey, leave your ATVs on the trail for a short nature hike through the primary rain forest jungle as you are shown more of Costa Rica's exotic plant and animal life.
